Azteca
Arts Colorado is a collaboration of artists with roots in the
indigenous cultures of North and Central America, particularly Mexico.
Our collective goal is to promote the awareness and advancement of our
people's beautiful heritage. We promote their self preservation of the
culture through educational, economical, spiritual and nutritional
growth utilizing the arts to achieve these goals.
Through
our instruments of Danza, Music, Storytelling and ritual we are tuning
the vibrations of the heart string to resound throughout the universe.
We invite you to come and participate. We are a non-profit organization
networking with other art groups and councils locally ,nationally and
internationally for over 15 years. We are umbrella organization under
the Colorado Folk Arts Council ( www.colofolkarts.org), Colorado's
oldest cultural arts organization celebrating in 2008 35 years of arts
in Colorado.
We do
not discriminate on the basis of race, gender, religion or sexual
orientation. CFAC holds a 501 (c) 3 status and all donations to us are
tax deductible.
